"La bottega acquerelli" is one of the historic shops of the city, belonging since the beginning of the 18th century to the Moretti family, previously destined to a laboratory for the production of leatherwear and hand-made shoes.

At the end of the '80s, the activity was reinvented by owner Gabriele Moretti who inherits the shop, always passionate about drawing. The shop becomes a painting store, the subjects represented being the landscapes and the colors of Assisi and of the Umbrian territories, the techniques used watercolor, ink, oil painting.

In the following years, as a result of family events, the art of drawing is combined with that of the ceramic, creating the famous "watercolors ceramic", unique objects, obtained by the union of the excellence achieved in the production of manufactured goods in the two different techniques.

All pieces in our shop are handmade by the owners and by local artisans of our trust, working entirely in Umbria.
